I am fascinated by the power of the human body to heal itself and am passionate about facilitating that power in my clients. I am a registered acupuncturist with 26 years experience and an established MORA therapist of 19 years. I am driven to find new and effective ways to help my clients using MORA and acupuncture as the cornerstones of my therapeutic approach.

My journey as a therapist really goes back to my childhood where I developed an interest in healing and helping my friends when they got hurt. This interest manifested itself initially in simple ways like being the one to remove a splinter, or wash and dress a wound as a kid, to later rendering CPR at a motor vehicle accident. The pull and desire to help people have always been strong.

In my late teens I played soccer very competitively but was hindered by recurring ankle ligament problems. In frustration, I sought help from an acupuncturist and the spectacular results sparked my interest in pursuing a career in the field.

I graduated in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Acupuncture from Acupuncture Colleges Australia, Sydney, and a Certificate of Advanced Acupuncture from Guangzhou College of TCM, China.

After a number of years working as an acupuncturist my curiosity, and ongoing research to improve my clinical results, led me to investigate the ability to balance meridians and affect people’s wellbeing though the use of modern technology. My investigations led me to MORA therapy. In 2002 I was invited to work and learn at the Biological Medicine Clinic in Victoria where I spent 4 years learning from one of the top MORA therapists in the world.

I returned to Canberra in 2006 where I have since worked and built a strong reputation locally and interstate.
